What are the product uses of methyl chloride
Methylene chloride is mainly used in the production of methyl chlorosilane, and 50% to 90% of the world's methylene chloride is used in the production of organosilicon. In addition, it is also used in the production of methyl cellulose, tetramethyllead, herbicide, butyl rubber, quaternary amine compounds, etc. It can also be used as refrigerant, foaming agent, and solvent of rubber, resin and organic compounds. Used medically as a local anesthetic. Examples of its application are as follows:
1) Preparation of methane chloride by thermal chlorination of methyl chloride. The raw material chloromethane, dilution gas and chlorine gas are mixed into the reactor, and react at a high temperature of about 380-440℃. The high temperature gas that reacts is chilled, condensed and separated to separate hydrogen chloride and crude chlorinated liquid. The hydrogen chloride is circulated to produce chloromethane, and the collected crude chlorinated liquid is sent to the distillation section for refining. After adopting the preparation method of the invention, the process is greatly shortened compared with the traditional process, the production capacity is improved, the unit energy rate is high and the utilization rate of the raw material chlorine gas is improved, making the whole device less investment and lower consumption. The process does not use the traditional process of water, alkali washing, no waste generation.
2) 2, 3, 3, 3-tetrafluoropropylene was prepared by pyrolysis reaction of difluoromethane (R22) and methylene chloride (methyl chloride) in the presence of N2 gas at 600~1000℃; Wherein, the volume ratio of difluoro-chloromethane to chloromethane is 1~3∶1, and the reactant residence time is 0.01~0.2s. The reaction raw material used in the invention is readily available, overcomes the disadvantage of high cost of raw material used in the prior art, greatly reduces the production cost, and the technological reaction process is simple. The prepared 2, 3, 3, 3-tetrafluoropropylene has the advantages of zero ODP and low GWP, and can be used as a substitute refrigerant for automobile air conditioning.
3) The preparation of trimethyl aluminum includes the following steps: under the protection of inert gas, add magnesium aluminum alloy powder and hydrocarbon solvent into the reactor, and start stirring for 5-15 minutes; Then, inducer 1, 2-diiodoethane was added into the stirred reactor. Methyl chloride was gradually added under intense stirring, and the reaction temperature was controlled at 120-160 ℃ during the process of adding methyl chloride. Keep the reaction temperature at 120-160℃ and continue stirring for 2-3 hours; When the material temperature is controlled at 110 -- 160℃, the trimethyl-aluminum receiving bottle is pre-cooled to -20℃, and the trimethyl-aluminum is distilled at the vacuum degree of -0.05Mpa -- --0.095Mpa. The molar ratio of Al in the inducer, methyl chloride and Mg-Al powder was 1-2:100:20-25. The weight ratio of methyl chloride to solvent is 1:1.5 ~ 2.5. The invention has low cost, high reaction efficiency, high safety, and is not easy to introduce impurities.
